Accessibility statement

Our aim

Tru Realty wants everyone to be able to find a home, reach an agent and read our notices on this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or captions. We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. We have not had the site audited against them by an outside reviewer.

What the site does

• A “Skip to content” link is the first thing a keyboard reaches on every page.
• Moving backgrounds can be paused, and do not play at all when your device asks for reduced motion.
• An agent’s card can be turned over with the keyboard as well as by tapping or dragging.
• Pages and passages in Chinese are marked as Chinese, so a screen reader reads them in the right voice.

What we know is not yet right

• Listing photographs are described only by the property’s address.
• Some forms and documents our agents send are PDFs from New York State or the MLS, which we do not control.
